The following letter was read at tin’s morning’s meeting of the Stratford Hospital Board : “Having until recently been a patient at Stratford Public Hospital dJor .some tiiruj, , I feel that I cannot depart without pressing my gratitude and heartfelt thanks for all that was done for mo during niy time there. I have at all times received courtesy, kindness and attention from your efficient staff, and no words of mine are adequate enough to express the gratitude I feel towards all ■Concerned. I wish, therefore, to thank sincerely Drs Steven, Gordon and Rich, Matron, sister and nursing staff for their kind and unfailing attention to me while in hospital- I feel I would be wanting in gratitude were I to leave without placing on record my highest appreciation” of their noble and self-sacrificing work.”
