(Received 9.50 a.m.) LONDON, July 12Air Ministry officials tested Loewenstein's machine at Croydon, flying at a thousand feet. Major Cooper, tied with a' rope, flung himself against the Qoor which opened six inches. He was immediately flung hack against the cabin by the rush of wind from the propellors. There was a prolonged struggle before he was able to climb out on the step.—Australian F.A.
