The machines are specially fitted to land on small ice areasIt is reported from Spitsbergen thatfa Swedish mechanic is willing to descend with a parachute on the icefloe, to assist Lundbergin repairing his aeroplane. Lundberg has asked that spare part* to dropped by means of a parachute. '
