PERSONAL

A quiet/ but pretty wedding was solemnised at Kohuratahi, on Monday at the residence of the bride’s parents, the contracting parties being Miss Emily Oistler, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Ostler, and Mr Cl paries Parker, eldest son of Mr and Mrs Parker, of Tahora. Tho service was conducted by the Rev, Alexander, The bride, who was given, away by her father, looked charming in a frock of hois de rose relieved,with fawn and lilt to match. She was attended by Mrs J. Selby as matron, of honour, wearing saxe blue costume and hat to match. The duties of best man were ably carried out by Mr F. Ostler, brother of the bride. The mother of the bride wore a sniirt frock of navy cloth and fawn hat. Later the happy couple left for a,n extended tour in the south, the bride travelling in smart navy costume and hat to match.
