FRENCH TENNIS PLAYERS. NO CALL TO RETURN. Press Association—Copyright. (Received 10.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, Thi s Bay. Referring to the cable from Paris yesterday, Borotra said he had not received any call from the French lawn tenjiis association asking him and his associates to return to France in view of the approaching Davis Cup matches. He does not expect to receive one, and says the French Association approved of the arrangements before they left. They will carry out their part of the programme. (Received 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, February 3. Interviewed regarding a recent statement from Sydney that Borotra had been recalled, M. Canet, president of the French Tennig Association, said that it was the first he had heard of it. There was absolutely no truth in the statement, and the Association would not dream, for one moment of recalling the team before the termination of all engagements.
