The committee wants to see as many citizens as possible associated with the celebrations. W « Tuesday afternoon, from 1 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. has been allotted to the children. Mr Furrie says he can produce a programme that will be an eye-opouer to parents. • ♦ 9 The four Ridings of Stratford (County are to bo asked to hold a Queen Carnival. “I hope we won’t need a paid organiser.” said Mr W. H. Kelly. “No,” came the answer in determined tones from several parts of the room. * * * Mr E. H. Young wants to bold an “old lime” hall. It’s a good idea. * * * Mr Robins. Speak it to everybody you meet, every day of the week, he s ays; write about it to your friends; and do everything to bring people to Stratford for our great wek. * * ♦ Co-opertaion will bring success. Everybody will bo asked to do something. Nobody will bo asked to do too much. Let everybody do his little bit well, and tlje Jubilee will run on wheels. That is what Mr Robins thinks. * * * The official history of Stratford is to be made a big thing and it will need a lot of preparation. Mesrs W. L. Kennedy, .1. H. Battersby and P'. Skoglund will be glad to receive material which will help in the compilation of this history.
