TJie Renown arrived tins afternoon and was escorted into harbour by the first destroyer flotilla and a fleet of aeroplanesAll warships were gaily dessed and flied ai Royal salute. Maltese crowds lined the battlements and acclaimed the arrival of the Royal sin’]} by hand-clapping and cheering. After numerous official calls their Royal Highnesses landed and proceeded through the decorated streets to Valeeta Palace, where an investiture was held.
