Sir,—As one who has lived in the bigger cities of Wellington and Auckland, and whose business takes me to many parts of the North Island, allow me to congratulate Stratford on its picture theatre, and particularly its present manager. The class of picture being shown is good evidence of Mr Wilson's wisdom of choice. The children's pictures on Saturdays are well chosen and instructive, and compare favourably indeed with many a bigger city 'house. —I am, etc., "JUST A PARENT."
