Second; David Thomson. 86 per cent. Text perfect : interpretation a,nd doric good : deportment fair ; 'articulation good: enuneration fair. Third: A. only failed in two points below the second prize-winner. .V, GIRLS.

First: Mario Villers, 91 per cent, distinct dramatic ability, worth*■ of having it clcvoloped • splendid interpretation for which she got the maximum marks. Second; Elsio Ferguson, 90 per cent. Tood interpretation and doric: a little short of winner in deportment : splendid performance Third: Dorothy Roberts, 89 per cent, good in interpretation and doric: slightly weak in dewrtnient; but excellent in articulation. Consolation prizes will be given to. Marjorie Yoiincr and Isabel Elliott, for their very creditable preformanees.
