KING COUNTRY CLUB’S ANNUAL GATHERING. The King Country Collie Club’s eighth annual trials were brought to a successful conclusion on Tuesday, tiie detailed results' being as follows : CLASS IT.—Short head, drive Maltese Cross, yard. S. Erik.sen’s (Awakino) Toss 16 S. Pratt’s (Kopaki) Darkle won the challenge cup in Class 1. and E. Larsen’s (Piopio) Laddie in Class TV., whilst a handsome silver coffee service presented by Mr A. Duncan, of Bexby, to the owners of two dogs competing in classes If. and ITT, was won by 11. Hill’s (Piopio) Don and Mick, with 54 points. The trophies for the maiden dogs’ Class I. resulted: G. Ross’ (Awakino) Nellie 33, F. Wardell’s (Tongapomtu) Flip 30, R. Parr’s (Mahoenui) Laddie 27.
