TWO DEATH SENTENCES

SENSATIONAL MOSCOW TRIAL.

The trial has been concluded of sixteen industrialists who were

charged with economic espionage, 'corruption, and unfair practises. Two were sentenced to death, and a number of the others to a long term of imprisonment. All the accused were connected with the textile trust. The prosecutor described the proceedings as an effort to prevent private capital conquering the wholesale trade.
