The death is announced of Mr James Pine, of Riccarton, wellknown in sporting circles. ,
The following pupils of the Sacred Heart school passed the elementary examination in Pitmans Shorthand held recently: Moira Jans and Ellen Kelleher.
The marriage took place at St. Andrew’s Church, New Plymouth, oni Saturday morning, of Miss Myra A., Stohr, only daughter of Mrs Stohr,' of New Plymouth, and Mr W. ,G*i Marshall. The church was . prettily} decorated for the occasion, and thd Rev. 0. Blundell officiated.
