MAHOE SCOOL.

On Friday j-Mr R. Masters, chair-* man of the Education Board,.present-' ed the prizes won by. the scholars during the year. The school has .agaip won .the Tisch shield for the best kept grounds' in Taranaki, and in addressing'the scholars, Mr, Masters - men-* tioned this fact, and congratulated the. school, on winning this- honor. The chairman, of ..the school committee, Md J. Whittington, interviewed the chair-i man of, the Education-Board, regarding increased accommodation at--the horse paddock, and this has practically been done. Prizes were distributed to the successful scholars, and Willie McMahon presented with- a special prize for making-the-most progress during the year. Two certificates of proficiency were "also-'awarded.
