LOSS ON BEET SUGAR FACTORY.

In the Assembly Mr Elmslie stated that the loss on the Maffra beet sugar factory last year was £10,304. The Minister for Agriculture declared that if the losses of previous'years w'ere repeated this year the Government i would not again ask Parliament to repeat the experiment.
