THE TIDES High water at New Plymouth today at 7.47, p.m.; to-morrow at G. 47 a.m. and 8.16 p.m. THE SUN. The sun rises to-day at 4.37 a.m., and sets at 7.23 p.m. EXPECTED ARRIVALS. Rarawa, from North, Tuesday. Mapourika, from South, Thursday Rarawa, from North, Friday. H. D. Bendixsen, schooner, left Puget Sound October 6, due New Plymouth, December.
The Inga arrived in port at 6.80 a.m. yesterday, after a rough passage. The cargo comprised 3500 sleepers and 250 poles for the local tramways. The Inga is expected to get away to-day for Wanganui, for which port she has a quantity of.coal. The Waverley is due here to-morrow evening from Pnponga with a load of coal.
The Flora, which is due to-day from Southern ports, will have about 350 tons of general cargo to discharge here.
The Corinna sailed yesterday for Wellington, talcing 11,752 boxes of butter and 5567 crates of cheese for transhipment to the Turakina. From Wellington the vessel proceeds to One hunga, thence to Wellington, and is due back here on December 24.
