A fire was discovered at 11.30 last night in the Bodega Restaurant, a three-story brick building on Lambton Quay, and before it! was suppressed damage to the extent of some hundreds of pounds was done by flames, smoke and water. The fire started in the kitchen on the ground floor and travelled up the lift, well to the upper stories. The building ts "owned by Mr J. H. Fairbairn, licensee of the Occidental Hotel, arid is insured in the Yorkshire office for £2OOO. The restaurant was leased by Daniel McFarlane, who had his furniture insured for, £650, higjtpck for £IOO, and his plate glass windows for £4O, also in the Yorkshire office. ....,-
