ACTIVITY AMONG ENEMY'S SECRET SERVICE AGENTS.

(Received 11.55 a.m.)

Ottawa, November 5. The secret service has discovered great activity in the United States amongst German organisations, with the object of invading Canada. Farmers in the maritime provinces state that automobiles are used nightly across the frontier. German townships on the United States side are receiving an influx of strangers of military appearance. The Canadian Government announces that full preparations have been made to defeat any attempt at invasion of Canada. All railways and ports of entry are guarded by militia.
