The thirtieth annual sports gathering of St. Patrick’s College was held to-day in ideal weather. Students from all over Now Zealand were i presented in the relay race, which resulted: —Canterbury team (G. Kennedy, P. McCrossan, E. Bennett, T. Foley) Ist; Wellington (C. Dcaly, J. Gamble, C. Dealy, L. Cullen) 2nd; Hawke’s Bay and Wairarapa (R. Miller, T. Cotter, C. O’Connell, M. Murphy), 3rd. The Open relay race (senior) resulted: Wanganui (J. Campion, T. Bourke, 1). Campion, Te Te Weri) Ist; South Canterbury (D. Kelly, J. Reilly, T. Cleary, P. ’Joyce) 2nd; Wellington (B. Chapman, C. Dealy, J. Seymour, O. Colder) 3rd. The half-mile run was won by A. Craighead, of Waimate.
