At the Ballarat band contest the championship in the A. grade contest was won by Rozelle (New South Wales) Band, the Gftelong Harbor Trust Band being second. The B grade went to Ballarat City Band. Tire adjudicator, Mr Beswick, departs for New Zealand during the week.
