When the House met at 10 a.m. the Masseurs Registration Bill was introduced by Governor's Message and road a first time. The followiiig local Bills were read a second time: Takapuna Borough Foreshoro Vesting, Wfcan* garei Borough Land Vesting, Napier Harbor Board Empowering and Loan, Riccarton Bush, Eltham Drainage, Dunedin District Drainage and Sewerage Acts Amendment, Waitara Harbor Empowering, Auckland City Empowering, Southland Drainage, Christchurch District Drainage Amendment, Auckland Harbour Board Vesting, Wairoa Harbor Board Endowment, Wellington City Milk Supply Amendment, Christehurch Milk Supply and Dunedin City Lands Vesting. All the Bills were put through committee, read a third time and passed, except the Wairoa Harbor Board Endowment, on which no progress was reported. The Awakino County Council Empowering and the Christehurch Tramways District Bills were withdrawn. Mr Bradney moved the second reading of the Roman Catholic Bishop of Auckland Empowering Bill, which was carried on the voices. In committee two new clauses were added to the Bill, which was then read a third time and passed. The House rose at 11.55 a.m. till 7.30 p.m. on Monday.
