ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.

[Fib Pbebb Association.] Thames, September 25. A fatality occurred at the Watchman nine hst night. A man named Tedd;. Marks, single, aged 40, was killed v. bile working the stope. A fall cf rock and earth occurred, pinning tha victim. He was extricated by bis mates, but died on reaching the level. His back has broken, and bo suffered severe internal injuries. The victim was well known on the field from Thames to Tairua.
