There is a great demand for Now Zealand slips and scoured crossbreds owing to the Government’s Khaki requirements. About eight thousand bales were sold privately at )d per lb above the July prices. MT. MORGAN RETURNS. (Received 10.35 a.m.) Brisbane, August 29. Mt. Morgan returns for the month ending August 23rd: Produced 740 tons blister copper, containing 732 tons copper and 9435 ounces gold.
