AERIAL BOMBARDMENT OF ANTWERP. HOSPITAL DESTROYED. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] Paris, August 26. At Antwerp, a Zeppelin threw seven shrapnel bombs. Many houses were destroyed, including a hospital which was flying the Geneva Convention flag. Twelve were killed and several seriously injured.
TWENTY MINUTES OF BOMBTHROWING.
CAPTURE OF THE ZEPPELIN. The casing of the Zeppelin bombs was 3in. thick, and must have been of an enormous size. The capture of the airship Zeppelin is confirmed. The ship took advantage of a very dark night. One of i the bombs made a hole 6ft in the .street, and probably contained shot, as all houses near by were peppered and the windows broken. Another bomb'killed one person and mortally wounded two others, and blew off the Jeg; of a,-.fourth. A married couslo fitting'at" a window were killed. The barracks of the infantry regiments wore badly damaged. AN ABANDONED RAID. (Received 9.15 a.m.) Antwerp, August 26. A Zeppelin attempted another raid last night, bui} it was abandoned ow-ing-ttf'the city's precaution.
