TO THE FRONTIER.
(Received -S.O a.m.) Loudon, August 25. A report has been reeeived from Rome that the Russian mobilisation is complete. The entire army is inarching to the frontier in the wak» of tho advance guards. There are four million men in the first line, and a similar number in the second. AUSTRIAN AVSATORS KILLED AND WOUNDED. THE RUSSIANS ACTIVE.

Russians destroyed an Austrian aeroplane south of Groubeshore, killed two of the aviators, wounded a third, and also destroyed a bridge near Kamenka. which stopped railway communication. RUSSIAN ARMY MARCHING ON
POSEN.
(Received 10.5 a.m.', St. Petersburg. August 26. It is believed a large Russian centre army is marching on Posen.
Poson.—Province in East Prussia, in the north German plain. Th» province is very level and is essential, ly agricultural. The principal rivers are the Warthe and'its tributary the Netze. Three-fifths of the two millions of inhabitants of the prorace are Poles.—The town of Posen, capital of the province, is situatd on the Warthe, 90 miles N. of Breslan. It is the most important fortress on ithe German eastern frontier. Jt is one of the oldest Polish towns, and was the residence of the early Polish monarchs. The population in 1910 was 15G.696.
