The Hindu committee on shore claim that Gurclit Singh deceived the Komagata Maru's passengers as to the real reasons of their deportation. Few really knew why they were barred from entrance to Canada. It is understood that as the result of the* Komagata Maru incident, the British Government is likely to take up 'with the United States the question of investigating the political activities, of Hindus throughout the United States and Canada.
Well-known Hindus in several centres have started agitating in California, particularly in San Francisco Seattle, and Washington State.
