THE FIRST STAGE
[By Electric Telegraph—-Copyright] [United Press Association.] (Received 10.45 a.m.) , London, July 22. There are 1093 entries for the King’s Prize. The wind was unsteady and light uncertain; for the first range, hut the conditions improved for the 600yds.
The King’s Prize is shot for in three stages : First stage, seven shots at 200, 500 and 600yds (bronze medal); the second, ten shots at 300 and 600yds (silver medal); and the third, ten shots at 800, 900, and 1000yds (gold medal, badge, and £250).
