NEW ZEALAND FOR RUGBY ROBERTS' GREAT EXHIBITION. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] (Received 8.45 a.m.) Sydney, July 13. Commenting on the football match, the Telegraph says: "The Xqw Zealanders' methods were truly in accordance with the traditions of the greatest Rugby country on earth. A feature of the game was ithe splendid exhibition by Roberts, who did things which left the opposition crowd agape ; Despite their licking, New South Wales was not disgraced. Had there been, anything like consistency in goalkicking the score might-have reached forty-three."
THE OLD OLD STORY. NOTHING SUCCEEDS LIKE SUCCESS. (Received 9.15 a.m.) Sydney, July 12. The Herald says: "It was the old New Zealand story over again. There was always one All-Black too many, and he was generally in a scoring position. The seven New Zealand forwards more than held their own in the scrum. The short tricky run, capped by a lightning pass, was the forte of the Black three-quarters. The passes seldom missed, while the wing men were never overcrowded and forced over the line."
