THe Government- Meteorologist (Eev D. 0. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows: The indications are for southerly winds moderate to strong prevailing. Weather probably eool and changeable with scattered showers. The night will probably be very cold with frosts inland. Barometer rising.
