HUNTER FOUND GUILTY.

ON CHARGE OF SEDITION. [Per Press Association.] ;■■■■:,-' . Wellington, May 18. The re-trial of Edward Hunter on a charge of using seditious language at Newtown Park on December 14 concluded* this evening, the jury returning a verdict of guilty, with a recommendation to mercy, on the ground that at the time the offence was committed Hunter’s feelings had run away with him. Sentence was deferred till Wednesday.
