LATE LOCALS.
A camp was held last week-end of the Stratford men of the Xlth Regiment's Medical Corps, the purpose being to make up half-day parades. A night and a day were spent under canvas. There*' was a full muster, Dr. Hobertson being in charge.
In the Supreme Court, Dunedin, states a Press Association message, John Crisp, solicitor, Palmerstou, was adjudged a bankrupt. It is supposed ho has left the Dominion. Henry Wong Gye was declared a habitual criminal and was sentenced to twelve months' imprisonment.
On Thursday the Stratford Rifle Club will fire ..the first stage for the Masters Cup. There are three stages, and the best two shoots will count. The conditions for Thursday's shoot are seven shots at 300, 500 and 600 yards, 2 sighters. Handicaps are as follow: —C. Jackson, C. Speck, A. Wickham, N. Thorpe, A. Sangster scr., A. Speck, E.
