A writer jn the Dominion states that the crack horseman, A. Oliver, lias been asked to guide some trotters [ in their races at Wanganui next Fri- { day and Monday, and has accepted, the engagements. Ho will thus be | kept busy on the four days (racing and trotting) at Wanganui, and will j then go home to Awapuni to fulfil further engagements at the Mauawatu j Trotting Club’s meeting. If Oliver decides to go on with the business of | riding and driving trotters his services are likely to lie in keen demand at the big meetings in the south.
