Stewards’ Handicap, of loOsovs, five furlongs. Lord Lupin 1, Gerberga 2, Astor 3. Scratched: liieura, Spalfish, Powderfox, Boronia, Galtee, Improve. Won by three-quar-ters of a length. Time, liuin 2 1-5 sec. The Cup, of 500 sovs; a mile and a-quarter.—Goldsize 1, Emperador 2, Byron 3. Scratched: Sir Moseley, Mulga Bill, Monologue, White Crane, Miss Kelly. Won by half a length, a neck between second and third. Time, 2min 7 2-sseo. Timaru Hack, of lOOsovs., six furlongs.—Paoli 1, Miss Kelly 2, Rector Girl 3. Scratched: Butcher Boy, Lady Ami, Tyson, Sylvan Dale, St. Luap, Salathiel, Encore, His Eminence, Billington. Won by a short head. Time, Imin 15 4-ssee. t
