A SERIOUS ADMISSION. By Electric Telegraph--'' v »pyriohi [Uniteu Press Associates. i London, February 10. A sensation was caused at the Home Office during the inquiry into the Senghenydd pit explosion. Fireman Davies gave evidence that he had exuninod the pit a few hours previously md admitted he found explosive gas. but had not reported it. Despite the Commissioners’ warning, he added that once before he had not reported i similar discovery. A MINER’S EVIDENCE. (Received 10.20 a.in.) London, February 10. At the Senghenydd inquiry, Thornton, a miner, gave evidence that the (■cumulations of gas were known t>. Ivoriuan, a fireman, who perished a tin l disaster.
