The second race for the Northcote Cup, to windward and back, twice round, was won by Rawhiti for the second time. The Rawhiti was finely handled,, and proved her superiority under trying conditions. The Killara was handicapped in the final stages by her mainsail splitting. The Rawhiti won by >2min 25sec., beating the Killara by 6min 18sec. SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS.
