SCHOOL TEACHERS' STRIKE
UNRULY PUPILS.
[By Eleotrio Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] (Received 1.0 p.m.) London, February 2.
Fifty Herefordshire schools were closed! and it is believed thirty more will be"obliged to follow.
Schoolgirls at Lidbevg took possession of the school rooms after the morning lessons and overturned the desks, "spilt the ink, and wrote notice's on the, blackboards upholding the teachers who are on strike. Later, the larger girls at a meeting in the playground resolved to strike, and hustled the new mistress from the school and guarded the
doors. Non-strikers entered through the windows, and free fights resulted. The strikers held possession for the remainder of the afternoon.
