MAN SHOT IN THE BACK. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] (Received 8.45 a.m.) Paris, February 1. Longfield, a Californian, and his German wife were arrested at San Remo on suspicion of the murder of Sigall, a prominent member of the Chamber, of Commerce at Leipzig. The three were motoring from Mentone when a scream was heard from the car and Signal! staggered out shot through the back.
