We would like to draw flip attention of the Stratford people, who intend to pay a visit to the pienie at New Plymouth on tlie 2f)th January, that the Taihau-auru Maori Sports Clnh are holding their 2nd Annual Sports in the Recreation Grounds, New Plymouth, on that day, and visitors will have an opportunity to see the Mat -i War Dance, Poi Dance, Potato-Peel-ing Competition and various other events that are not seen every day.
