She was in ill-health and Being missed a search was made, and she ,was. 4>)inub .hanging from the ceiling. *On ‘the arrival of the police and doctor, life was extinct. Her husband is a, traVellor of Cpromandal. An inquest will be held this afternoon. Whangarei, December 21. Bert Strongman, a halfcaste, employed at Harrison’s mine, was killed this morning. He endeavoured to get his lambs out of the cage after the signal fo go up had been given, and agged' to o 'surface tanco of 110 feet, reaching the top mangled and dying.
