, At the Supreme Court, before Mr Justice Williams, John Johnstone and William Downey were found guilty of receiving stolen property, and were each sentenced to six months' imprisonment wjth hard labor. The s property consisted of rabbit-skins, jAicli were stolen from Kirk's warehouse at Queenstown. Charley Blee,' charged With'breaking and entering and theft at Winton, was found guilty and sentermed to two years' imprisonment with hard labor* IN DIVORCE, Wellington, November 2S. In the Supreme Court a decree nisi was granted in the case of Williams v. Williams (the husband's petition), and was made absolute in the case of Stringer v. Stringer (the wife's petition).
