RECEIVES SALUTARY SENTENCE [By Eleothio Times— Sydney Sun Special Cables. (Received 8 a.m.) London, November 2-'t.
Herbert Holf'ord, antique dealer, Shaftesbury Avenue, was sentenced to five ; years' penal servitude for receiving stolen property. Detectives in evidence said accused had been connected with seventeen robberies. He employed workmen to erase the crests and monograms from the stolen silver.
