DEATHS NEAR NAPIER.

A man named James Foster, a trainn; employed by Mr Twist, -of Greenueadows, went for a inotpr-car drive vitli two ladies on Saturday evening. When returning from Hastings lie suddenly collapsed, and died. Foster was apparently in good health before leaving. A woman, between 40 and 50 years of age, was found in the Tutaekuri River about one o'clock this morning. She was quite dead. A strap was fastened around her ankles, to which i string was attached iwth a loop around her neck. The circumstances point to suicide.
