The GovernIment representative said he had nothing to add to the previous day's statement except that nothing had been done by the Senate to cause the Go-; vernment to swerve from the course' .decided upon. He warned the Senate' that its action would lead to a crisis.' j Mr McGregor moved the suspension; of tho Standing Orders and the adjournment of the House. ! Both motions were carried after further protests from Ministerialists against blocking the business. |
