STEFANNSON EXPEDITION.
ITS FATE IN DOUBT. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] lUnited Press Association..! Ottawa, November 18. The Marine Fisheries Department attach little credence to the report of the loss of the Stefannson expedition. It possesses every equipment for camping in the ice even if the ship is lost. Messages were received on the 10th November from Doctor Anderson, who is aboard the Alaska, the supply ship, and these gave no' indication of anything wrong. The Government is seeking to communicate with the expedition and secure information. A mail will be sent" overland from Edmonton to Alberta by a dog team to Herschell Island.
