THE FIRE ON THE BALMER.

The Pannonia reports that Captain Ruiz spent five sleepless days. While the Balmer was burning he steered the ship to Bermuda. A wireless operator named Miehaicala, worked night and day receiving mecssages from the Pannonia before Succour arrived. No other person aboard understood English. After the crew were exhausted fighting the lire the Pannonia came. Arbornes, a mechanic, led the passengers into the blazing hold and fought the fire for an enairo day. . .
