EXTRADITION ORDER. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] (Received 10.45 a.m.) Perth, November 17. An order has been granted lor the extradition of Alfred Weaver, who was arrested in London on a charge of abducting a young girl whom he said was his daughter.
A SEVERE HAILSTORM
(Received 10,35 a.m.) Melbourne, November 17. A severe hailstorm at Ta-rradale stripped the crops and killed and injured many lambs. One horseman caught in the storm was severely cut about the face and hands.

Melbourne, November 15
Mr J. Hill, chairman of the Geelong Harbor Trust, received a letter from West Australia, reading as follows: “1 need £SOO. Unless lodged at the General Post Office, Melbourne, by next Tuesday, I am going to shoot you. I pant the money for clothing, medical assistance, and to, help me generally. If given a chance 1 shall distinguish myself as one of the great* est statesmen of modern times.” Mr Hill informed the police, who arrested a voting man on his arrival from West. Australia by steamer. His effects, contained a revolver and 50 cartridge,*;.
