President Wilson, after a conference with the Secretary of the Department for Labor, decided to admit Mrs Pankhurst to fulfil her lecture engagements, on her own recognisances. The Immigration Commissioners have issued a statement that there is nothing in the records showing that the British Government sought' to have Mrs Pankhurst returned to England, and that apparently no effort was made to compel her to serve the whole sentence of three years. Mrs Pankhurst immediately drove to Mrs August Belmont's house, where she is a guest. CARRIED TO A MEETING. London, October 21. Mrs Kenny was carried in an ambulance to the weeklv meeting of the Women's Social Union. She lay on the platform covered with blankets. Her Cat-and-Mouse license was sold for £25. The detectives attempted to re-arrest her.
