AMUSEMENTS.

THE SUNFLOWER MINSTRELS.

The / Town Hall, Stratford, should seat a big crowd on Thursday night, when the Sunflower Minstrels, who come to us with a big reputation, appear in a revival of burnt-cork business. “Massa Johnson” and the oldtime circle of nigger boys are said to keep the fun going fast and furious, while at the same time nothing objectionable in the way of questionable jokes are allowed to be used. The'first part of the programme embraces eleven items of minstrelsy, and during the second half, after special pianoforte selections by a lady member of the company, holding L.R.A.M. and A.R.C.M. certificates, besides other items, there is an irresistibly funny farce entitled “Fun in an Insurance Office.” The evening will be full of novelty, and all in search of a hearty laugli will, no doubt, find all they can hold even with sore sides. Popular prices of admission are charged.
