The charge against Samuel Minifie of attempting to murder his wife by shooting her in the street was partially heard and adjourned till Wed-, nesday. The parties had.been separated some time. When Minifie met bis wife in the street she refused his advances, and it is alleged, he then drew a'revolver and shot her in the arm. She has been in the hospital for seven weeks. * '• "-'••■'
