A FATAL COLLISION. [Per Press iAssociation.] Auckland, August, 10

A fatal collision occurred at Tc Aroha yesterday on the traffic bridge. A Maori was riding at a fast pace across the bridge, when ho collided -with a vehicle coming in the opposite direction. The shaft struck the native on the left thigh, causing a compound fracture; The man was thrown froir his horse, and received further injuries. He lost a considerable quantity of blood, and died shortly after admission to the hospital. The shaft of the vehicle was broken by the force of the impact.
