LSTANCY ADVSSED. “NOTHING TO PREVENT SUCCESS.” [i y Electric Telegraph-—Copyright] [United Press Association.] (Received 8.50 a.m.) London, August 8. The National Union of Women’s Suffrage Societies deputationised Mr Asquith and pointed out the great advane ein favorable opinion on the question, which was becoming one of democracy rather than of sex. Mr Asquith said be received the deputation because of its very impressive and law-abiding demonstration in Hyde Park on July 27th. He advised the deputation to proceed on non-militant lines. If they converttd the public, nothing would prevent their success.
